Goembel, Dale age 76, of Bloomington, passed away on February 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born in Luverne, MN on August 9th, 1946. He was preceded in death by beloved daughter, Terri; father, Leon; mother, Mary; stepmother, Dorothy; father in law, Joseph Horvath, sister in law, Karen. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy; daughter Trisha (Robby) Lien, grandson Joseph; son, Tom (Lindsey) Goembel, granddaughters, Olivia and Mackenzie; brother, Kurt (Michelle), sisters, Bonnie (Arvin) Busse-Rue and Brenda; mother in law, Arlene Horvath, sister in law Karol (Mark) Motzko, niece, Sabre; brother in law, Len Horvath; and many other relatives and friends. Dale retired as Foreman at Bryan Rock Products after 31 years and was a proud member of IUOE Local 49. Dale was a practical and resourceful man who was a jack of all trades. He took pride in providing for his family and was a knowledgeable handyman and do-it- yourselfer. He also enjoyed watching football, fishing, and pursuing his passion for woodworking. Dale's talents and contributions will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by those who knew him. In honor of Dale's beloved daughter Terri, the family requests that donations be made to the GIST Cancer Research Fund (gistinfo.org). Mass of Christian burial Friday, 3/3, 11 AM at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church 9900 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington MN. Visitation one hour prior to mass at the church.
