Schroeder, Juanita (Nita) age 83 of NE Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Vance Schroeder, sisters-in-law, Karen Whaley and Maria Whaley, and her parents, Earl and Lorraine Whaley. She is survived by her loving nieces; Val (Dan) Tuenge, and Cindy Schroeder (Greg McIntosh), siblings; George Bruce Whaley, Marjorie (Bob) Wambold, Michael (Billie) Whaley, Melvin (Lynette) Whaley, Carl (Cindy) Whaley, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Nita was born in Minneapolis, graduated from high school in Ellsworth IA, and lived most of her married life in NE Minneapolis ("Nordeast"). She worked many years at Industrial Credit and Herberger's. Nita was a graceful and kind lady who loved her backyard flower beds, wildlife, bunnies and songbirds, especially chickadees. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 4 at 11:00.
