Carmen Treptau

Treptau, Carmen 83, from Golden Valley, MN passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Carmen was born in Mpls, MN on March 31, 1939. Carmen was a homemaker and also worked for Robbinsdale School District as a cook for over 20 years. Carmen was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Mpls. where she met her husband, Hugo. They were married in 1965 and were both committed followers of Jesus Christ. Carmen enjoyed gardening, attending Bible studies and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Preceded in death by parents Edward Peterson and May (Rud) Peterson, siblings Rodger Peterson, Leroy Peterson, Doris Peterson, and her loving husband Hugo Treptau. Survived by son Jeff (Rebecca) Treptau, daughter Michelle Treptau (Jim Freebersyser), daughter Lisa (Matthew) Nethaway and eight grandchildren: Tyler, Emma, Andrew, Owen, Samuel, Jakob, Ethan, and William. She will be greatly missed for her care and love for her children and grandchildren.
