Hedemark, Wade Hampton Sr. "Gumpy" A beloved Husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022. He was 56 years old. Born to Betty and Richard (Hedemark)of Minneapolis. Wade attended Roosevelt High School where during his junior year, enlisted to the U.S Army. During his assignment at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii he met the love of his life, Ana (Roberta). They married on a beautiful day in September. After 8 years of active duty and deployments, Wade received an honorable discharge from the US Army. They relocated to Minneapolis where they would build their beautiful life and raise their family. Wade was best known for his quick witted humor, generous spirit and love for all things Hunting and Outdoors. He enjoyed quiet fishing dates with his wife down by Lake Hiawatha and playing softball with his friends and the many softball teams throughout the years. He was very well known and loved by the community. He worked as a letter carrier for the Powderhorn Post Office for 29 years. Wade was set to retire next fall. He is preceded in death by his parents Betty and Richard. He is survived by his wife Roberta Ana, their children Maile (John), Maraiah (Johani), Wade Jr. (Sareth), Megan, their 9 grandchildren, Brothers Richard, Joseph (Hedemark) and sister Kathy (Wood) and several Nieces and Nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday January 6th at the Bradshaw Funeral Home. Wake Thursday 5pm - 7pm Visitation 10:30 AM / Funeral Service 11:00 AM. BRADSHAW 612-724-3621
