William John 'Bill' Caspers

Caspers, William John "Bill" age 83, of Burnsville, passed away on November 26, 2022 surrounded by his family. Bill was born on December 22, 1938 in Racine, Wisconsin to John and Phyllis Caspers. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, his parents and his brother, James Caspers. Bill was a plumber in the family business. He served in the U.S. Navy for 26 years and retired as a Lieutenant Commander. He spent most of his career as an electrical engineer. After he retired, he traveled with Jean and played a lot of golf. Bill married Jean on September 7, 1963 at St. Edwards Church in Racine. Bill is survived by his son Michael Caspers, Susan (Robert Greeley) Caspers, Jane (Matt) Lazaras, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his sister- in-law Loraine Caspers. On January 6, 2023, a service for Bill and Jean, who passed in 2020, will be held at White Funeral Home in Burnsville, MN. Visitation begins at 11:00 am. It will be followed by a service at 12:00 noon. The interment will be at Fort Snelling at 1:30 pm. A reception celebrating Jean and Bill's life will follow. The location to be announced.
