Stroth, Damon L. Age 73, of Richfield, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022 surrounded by his family at Fairview Southdale Hospital after battling Covid complications. Damon was diagnosed with Parkinson's/ Lewy Body Dementia in 2019. Loving husband, father, and most beloved Papa to his grandchildren. Loved and known by many as a gentle, caring friend with a great sense of humor. Damon lived for his family, friends, music, movies, having fun, and loved sharing his gifted ear and joy of music to others at many parties in his nostalgic basement. He loved entertaining family and grandchildren with classic movies, old cartoons, and Laurel & Hardy. He loved Christmas and brought joy to his neighborhood by putting the Christmas tree up early on Halloween. Graduate of Bloomington Lincoln High School and 30 year employee of Twin City Fan & Blower in Plymouth. He retired into becoming Papa's daycare to some of his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his beloved parents. Survived by wife and soulmate of 50 years, Nancy; children, Jason (Toni) Stroth, Michelle (Ryan) Stadler, Trevor (Amy) Stroth, Brandon Stroth; grandchildren, Axle Stroth, Chloe Stroth, Madilyn Stadler, Lewis Stadler, James Stadler, Mason Fossey, Peyton Fossey; brothers, Kevin (Dana) Stroth, Chris (Patty) Stroth & many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 9 at 11:00 AM - St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave, Richfield, MN 55423 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Luncheon to follow.
