Joanne Jean Hokanson

Hokanson, Joanne Jean age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022. She was born June 3, 1934, the youngest of 5 kids to Arthur and Yvonne Lewis. Joanne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother who helped run the family painting business and raised 5 children. Joanne enjoyed being a snowbird, splitting her time between Longville, MN, Ham Lake, MN and Naples, Fl. Preceded in death by her husband of almost 69 years, Harlan Gilbert Hokanson, who passed away on April 11th, 2022; her parents, Arthur and Yvonne Lewis; siblings: Irene, Bud, Betty, Lucille and great-grandchild Lewis O'Donnell. She is survived by her children: Jeff (Lila), Jerry (Peg), Judy (Bob), Jill (Mark), Jaci (Terry) and 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley MN 55432. Inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
