Vona Genevieve (Gaffir) Adamidis

Adamidis (Gaffir), Vona Genevieve Age 83 of Coon Rapids passed away peacefully at her home Oct. 22, 2022. Vona is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Blanche Gaffir. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Constantin (Dino); sons, Jason (Carrie), Christopher; daughter, Alysia (Jeremy) Anderson; 4 beloved grandchildren, Alexander, Joseph, Mia and Vivian. Born in 1939 in Flint, MI where she grew up with her only sibling, Shirley LaFontaine. She attended the St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated in 1957. She continued her education at Baker Business College. She worked at Bancroft Shaeen Ford and Perry Electric as a bookkeeper. She moved to MN in 1975 with her husband and with years of strong work ethic and passion, they found success in the restaurant business. Vona had a zest for life and was devoted to her faith and family. She was a caretaker, gifted cook and advisor to all friends and neighbors. Visitation Thursday, 10/27, 5-8PM at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10/28, 10:30 AM in the Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids.
