Grachek, Margaret Ellen of Longville, MN, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully on September 17th at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Madeline Kersten and sisters Barbara, Betty and Nancy. Margaret is survived by Glen, her loving husband of 50 years, daughters Jessica (Jay) Rinehart and Melissa (Christopher) Grachek, grandchildren Natalie (Jake), Abigail, TJ, Carter and Hailey, sisters and brothers, as well as many nieces and nephews. Born in North Minneapolis, she graduated from Brooklyn Center High School in 1971. Margaret went on to complete vocational school and obtained her LPN. She spent 23 years as a nurse consultant at PharMerica Pharmacy. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers and was a fantastic baker who always had treats ready to share. She was an avid reader and loved completing Sudoku puzzles while watching her favorite shows. Sundays were often spent loudly cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. Margaret also enjoyed fishing on the pontoon and would often out fish everyone else. Her greatest pleasure was being a nana and her grandchildren were some of the brightest joys in her life. In 2014, she retired to her lake home where she enjoyed watching the wildlife from her porch.
