Johnson, Sherman Leroy On September 13, 2022, Sherm passed away due to complications of a bone infection. He was born Nome, ND. Served 2 years in the Army, 4 years in the National Guard and returned to Valley City, ND. Moved to Blaine, MN with his wife and children. Retired from Control Data Corporation in 1991. He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline (Skramstad), father Joseph, mother Edna, brother Norman, sister Charlotte, granddaughters, Anna, Olivia and Kira. He was the best dad, poppy, great poppy, and he cherished his family as they were his greatest gift. He is survived by children, Shelly (Ken) Walberg, Troy (Karen) Johnson, Nancy (Phil) Reichel. Grandchildren JoCee (Bob) McCann, Jena Ricci, Jon Walberg, Alec (Marissa) Johnson, Sierra Johnson, Jordan, Jacson and Boden Reichel. Great grandchildren, Alayna, Robert, Ramsey, Rory and James Leroy. Sister Sandra (Terry) Kemmer, many loving In-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Many thanks to Allina Hospice and the staff at Crestview Senior Apartments in Blaine, MN.
