Houns, Peter Anderson "Pete" age 95, of Edina, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2022 with his family by his side. Survived by his loving wife Louise of 45 years, her daughter, Diane Lee and granddaughter, Alisha Lee; his children, Linda Crouch (Mike), Kathy Chiero, Larry Houns (Mollie) and grandchildren Bryan, Kate, Jacob, and Lizzie. Pete was raised in Tomahawk, WI and served during WWII in the Army Air Force. He worked in sales for Boise Cascade Paper Products for 25 years and retired. He started his own company General Paper Products. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He loved animals and always had a dog. Lifelong member of the MN Zurah Shrine. Preceded in death by parents Dr. Archie and Maude Houns, and brother Bill Houns. A memorial service will be held in Tomahawk, WI at a later date. "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Donations can be made to the Humane Society of the United States.
