Glasser, Dr. Ronald J. age 83 of St Louis Park, died August 26, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Ann Glasser and brother Jack. Survived by his companion, Joy Glasser; step-children, Rachel, Benjamin and Aaron Silberman; niece Andria Glasser Das (Sumit) and great nieces, Shira and Shiva. After graduating with his medical degree from Johns Hopkins, Ron was drafted into the Army where he served as a physician in Japan during the Vietnam war. His best-selling book 365 Days, which is still considered to be one of the most important books about that conflict. Ron continued to write prolifically throughout his career as a pediatric nephrologist. Ron helped improve the lives of thousands of children. He was a talented and caring man of great determination who will be missed by all. Funeral service 2:00pm SUNDAY August 28th at the UNITED HEBREW BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 2605 W. 70 1/2 St., Richfield. The funeral service will also be available via zoom.
