McHale, John Patrick "Jack" age 86 of St. Anthony, died peacefully on July 15, 2022. Preceded in death by wife, Patricia; parents Patrick and Clare and sisters Joan Berners and Ann McHale. Survived by wife Kathleen; children Patrick (Sarah) McHale, Mary (Chuck) Jones, Kathy Backer, Molly (Rick) Loomis, Colleen Moseng, Bill (Katie) McHale; grandchildren Jessie, Michelle, Nikki, Erin, Alyssa, Alex, Jake, Sydney, Brian, Lauren, Matt, Samantha, Jack, Gracie, Logan, Maia, Will, Jenna, Ava, Zoe, Colin and Kenzie; great grandchildren Olivia, Tom, Hannah, Maddi, Molli, Allie, Charlie, Zane, Claire, and Ellie; brother-in-law Ed Berners; Kathy's children and grandchildren, and many friends. Jack grew up in Waverly, a town that held many fond memories for him. He graduated from St. John's University and worked for Honeywell his entire career. Jack was a wonderful family man. He married his first love, Patricia in 1960 and together they raised 6 children in Northeast Minneapolis. They were married for 46 years until her death in 2007. Jack was lucky enough to have a second chance at love and he married his wife Kathleen in 2010. Remodeling and repairing his children's homes was where Jack spent much of his free time. He would show up with a van full of tools, and smile on his face and an Irish song to sing to his grandkids. Jack was always trying to improve his golf swing so he could beat his sons on the course. Jack spent many years volunteering at Prolife Across America, building the frames for their signs seen on roadways throughout the country. We will forever miss this man who loved life, had a deep faith in God, a quick wit, a kind heart and cared so much for his family and friends. Memorials preferred to Prolife Across America or St. Charles School.
