Dennis Fenichel

Fenichel, Dennis 75, passed away on June 22. He leaves behind his sister, April Furst and nephews Michael and Matthew Furst. Dennis was born and raised in NY and received a BA from SUNY at Binghamton. He went on to earn a PhD in psychology from the U of Minnesota and spent the remainder of his life in Minneapolis. He taught psychology at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Dennis loved to make people laugh. He wrote several books which were comedic in content. He was also an avid scrabble player and often participated in tournaments. He loved gardening and shooting pool with friends. Dennis had a wonderful singing voice and loved to perform. He acted, sang, and even did improv whenever he had the opportunity. Dennis fully participated in life, and he will be missed by many. His ashes will be scattered at the Ossuary at Hillside Cemetery where a plaque will be placed in his memory.
