Bonk, Geoffrey James of Minnetonka Minnesota left his adventures here on earth unexpectedly, without pain and fear 8 days after his 50th birthday on June 13, 2022 from a presumed cardiac arrhythmia. Geoff was in Yellowstone National Park enjoying one of, if not, the best 24 hours of his life with Megan (Dahlquist Bonk), his kids, Henrik (11) and Anna Beatrice (10), and in-laws, Tom and Mary Ann Dahlquist (Orono, MN). Geoff had just spoken to his mother, Nancy Bonk (Allouez, WI), an hour prior and shared how happy he was, and that he loved her. In addition, he always had his sister, Pamela Bonk (Chanhassen, MN), father, Dennis Bonk (Allouez, WI) and brother-in-law, Matthew Dahlquist (Deborah Oakes) (St. Paul, MN) close in heart and mind. At his birthday dinner Geoff raised his glass to share he was the happiest he had ever been. He told us he felt truly blessed in life through our family, our amazing friends (both new and old), the travels we had taken, our home and everything life had brought him. He will be deeply missed; however, we are thankful for the indelible mark he left on our hearts. A service will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 11AM at Westwood Community Church, 3121 Westwood Dr, Chanhassen, with visitation one hour prior. Following the service, those that would like to toast Geoff and help celebrate his life, please join the family for an open house at Back Channel Brewing Co., 4787 Shoreline Dr, Spring Park between 1-4PM. Memorials can be made to a charity of your choice or to Henrik and Anna Beatrice's education fund by sending checks to Megan Bonk, c/o RBC Wayzata, 641 E Lake St. Wayzata MN 55391 with Attn: Joe Piche, College Fund in the memo.
