Day, David S. 67 of Anoka, MN, formerly of Dubuque, Iowa passed away 4/12/22 He was preceded in death by parents Robert and Marjorie Day, brother Robert Jr. and father-in-law Harold Keil. David was a tile contractor, fisherman, hunter, animal control officer, Francophile, and a true blue Democrat. He loved food, rum and coke and French wine. He enjoyed debating but wanted to walk away friends. He valued the truth, science and above all fairness. His tenacity for life exceeded most everyone's expectations, but in the end couldn't overcome the obstacles placed in his way. He is survived by wife Janis, mother-in-law Arlene Keil, brother Tom (Jodi), sister Nancy Blasberg (Gary), and sister-in-law Barbara Day, brother- in-law Dennis Keil (Carol), 3 nieces, 6 nephews and 4 great nieces.
