Haeg, Betty Ann Marie (nee Burk) Age 86, of Col. Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family January 12, 2022 after a brief illness. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ted & Velma Burk and her brother Bob Burk. She is survived by devoted husband of 65 years, Howie; son Al (Judy); daughter Pam (Steve) Naegele; grandchildren Erin (Charlie) McChesney, Allison Haeg, Adam (Keely), Sam and Hannah Naegele and great grandchildren Charley Haeg and Ray McChesney. Also survived by sister Pat Kimball (Bill) and bonus sister Jan Morehouse and many family members and friends. Betty was a humble and loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Her family was her life. She loved gardening, crocheting, reading, puzzles, baking, painting, camping with Jim and Nancy, spending time with the Haeg "Six-Pack" and visits with her family. Her Christmas Eve spaghetti sauce and nut goodie bars were legendary. Her gentle smile and thoughtfulness will be missed by all who knew her. The family expresses gratitude to the North Memorial Hospital staff for the exceptional care they gave Betty, especially ICU nurses Melissa, Laurel and Lori. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 PM at Washburn McReavy, 4101 Central Ave NE, Col Heights. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11 AM at Immaculate Conception Church 4030 Jackson St. NE, Col Heights with visitation one hour before.
