James Charles 'Jim' Gelhaye

Gelhaye, James Charles "Jim" Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2, 2022, surrounded by family, after a fierce battle with COVID and pneumonia. He was 63. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Julian (Bud) and Shirley Gelhaye, and in-laws Robert and Janet Mostad. He is survived by his wife Verna Mostad-Gelhaye, sons Julian (Sharlene) Gelhaye and Charlie (Becca) Gelhaye; grandchildren Nora and Graden Gelhaye; brother Joe (Mary) Gelhaye, sisters Julie (George) Skouteris and Janine Mahoney. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday February 22, 2022, at the First Presbyterian Church, 535 20th Ave No. South St Paul. Family will greet friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the service to follow. Per Jim's request masks will be required and seating is limited to 100. The church will be livestreaming the service.
