Dawes, Judith Louise "Judy" Age 79, of Roseville passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 3, 2022. Graduated: Monroe HS in St. Paul. Member: League of Catholic Women, St. Odilia CCW and Capital Ski Club. Girl Scout and Camp Fire Leader. Preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Virginia Linn; brothers, Herbert and Jerry. Survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, John "Jack". Children: Tracy (Matthew) Brodie of PA, Kelly Dawes (Tim Clements) of MT. Grandchildren: Sean and Caitlyn Brodie, Sella and Otylia Clements. Sisters: Sandy Ryan, Donna (Lloyd) Stevens. Brothers: John (Terri) Linn, Tom Linn. Sister-in-law: MaryJo Linn. Brother-In-Law: Clinton II (Kathy) Dawes, David (Karen) Dawes, and Tom (Jeannine) Dawes. Judy was the beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that all will remember as a special individual whose light will continue to guide them. Judy was known for her optimistic, fun loving and outgoing personality; everyone knew they were truly valued. She enjoyed many activities including skiing, skating, dancing, playing cards and enjoying the outdoors. Judy always believed in putting others first and volunteered for many organizations, dedicating innumerable hours. While she will be profoundly missed by all, her principles and legacy will live on. A Christian celebration of Judy's life will be held at St. Odilia Catholic Church in Shoreview at a later date due to COVID. In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
