Pernula, Jonell M. age 61, of Mpls., passed away on Dec. 9, 2021 surrounded by family and music by the Beatles. Jonell graduated from Hopkins Lindbergh in 1978 and Brown Institute in 1980. She had various jobs in radio including being the first full-time female talent on The Cities' 97 from '85-'95. Jonell had a passion for music and was an avid Beatles fan. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack & Elaine, brother Jeff and fiancé Tim Hydeen. She is survived by sisters Judy (Mike) Anderson, Diane (Gary) Cobb, and brothers Mike (Laura), Dan, and Doug (Mary). Jonell had a special place in her heart for her ten nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Thursday, Dec. 23 with a visitation at 4pm and a service at 5:30 at the Edina Cremation Society. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's association or the charity of your choice.
