Griffin, Sharon Age 74 of St. Paul, formerly of Cornell, WI. Passed away peacefully December 11th, 2021, after a short but fierce battle with acute myeloid leukemia. Sharon grew up near Cornell, Wisconsin and graduated from Cornell High School. She went on to work at UPS and laservision USA. Sharon was a creative, passionate, and talented sewer who found many applications for her skills, from wedding dresses and fashion to interior decoration and industrial sewing. She was also a lifelong 4-Her, active as a member, parent of members, and later, co-leader of the Randolph Raiders club. Sharon was tirelessly devoted to her family and friends, courageous in the face of adversity, and unwavering in her optimism. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and LaRue Fischer; and brother-in-law, John Tobin. Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alan W. I; children, Amy (Matt Beaty); Alan W. II (Kati), Gillian (Michele Thornton), and Gretchen (Benjamin Leak); siblings, Connie Tobin, Tim (Pat) Fischer, and Carol (Mark) Hill; grandchildren, Henry, Samuel, and Harriet; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family, friends, and dog, Albert. Visitation 4:00-8:00 PM Friday, December 17th, 2021 at O'Halloran and Murphy, 575 Snelling Ave. S, St. Paul. Funeral service 10:00 AM with visitation 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Baytown, 5274 Stillwater Blvd. N., Stillwater, MN. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Ramsey County 4-H, the MN Boychoir, or the University of Minnesota Foundation Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia Research Fund.
