Hackenmueller, David Age 70. Beloved Twin Cities realtor and self-proclaimed "King of Golf" passed away at home on November 21, 2021. David grew up in Robbinsdale in the shadow of the meat market that still bears the family name. Began his 45-year real estate career shortly after graduating from St. Cloud State. The hallmark of his successful real estate career was treating all his clients as friends-and indeed many became part of the inordinate number of lifelong friends. David enjoyed volunteering, especially at the Courage Center where for years he escorted wheelchair bound residents to the State Fair. You can be sure that between his big personality and love of all thing's food, that those were memorable outings for all! David enjoyed his time and a large circle of friends from his many years as a member at Golden Valley Country Club. He was endeared by the staff and the members. His passion for golf (although he died thinking a 12-hole course would be plenty) saw him travel to golf destinations around the world with his pals from the club. David will be remembered for his endless acts of kindness, his wonderful sense of humor, and the joy he brought to both friends and strangers. Preceded in death by parents Herbert and Corrine Hackenmueller. Survived by brothers Robert P. (Sharon) Hackenmueller, Tom (Peggy) Hackenmueller; sister Jane Paulson; special friend Kathy Nelson; numerous nieces and nephews and many "Best" Friends.
