Doyle, Barbara Jean 71, of Richfield, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 1, 2021. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 11a.m.-1p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., in North Mankato with food and fellowship. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Memorials preferred to the University of Minnesota, Children's Hospital, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Barbara was born May 1, 1950, to Leo B. and Dorothy Jean (Arnold) Doyle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a child Barbara moved to Richfield, MN in 1953 and to Mankato, MN in 1955. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1968. Barbara lived in North Mankato, MN where she raised her family and was a longtime employee at Carlson Craft. She also enjoyed being a volunteer seamstress for the Merely Players Community Theatre. In 2004, she moved to Richfield, MN and worked as a phlebotomist for Allina Health in downtown Minneapolis. Barbara retired in 2020 and was busy visiting family and friends. With her longtime partner Lon Summers, they enjoyed exploring the great outdoors and visiting local art museums. Barbara was a kind and always loving person. She will be missed by her family and friends. Barbara is survived by daughter, Amy Patricia (Lance) Coker of Highland, CA; son, Wess Patrick (Kourtney) McConville of North Mankato MN; daughter, Michelle Jean (Tyler) Johnson of Ames, IA; brother, Gary Arnold (Diane) Doyle of Plymouth, MN; six grandchildren, Blake and Jack Coker, Scarlet and Dylan McConville, Cooper and Emma Johnson; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and grandchildren, Madison and Mariah McConville.
