Age 68, of Mendota Heights.  Died June 8, 2021.  Preceded in death by his parents, Jack & RoseMary Beissel; and his brother Josh Beissel. 

Survived by wife Mary; children   Jordan (Dr. Veena Iyer), Dr. Joy (Dr. Kaveesh Maharaj), and Jeffrey Christopher (Sara Woodworth); grandson Milo Avi Jeffrey Maharaj; sister Kathryn (Dr. Petr) Ruzicka; sister-in-law Kim Beissel; nieces, nephews, their spouses and children; and the Beissel, Peichel, Mortinson, and Thomas families.

Jeff was devoted to his children and their education.  He was exceedingly proud that they attended St.    Thomas Academy, Convent of the Visitation, Boston College, Notre Dame, Stanford, Northwestern, and the Mayo Clinic Residency Program.  He enjoyed visiting the kids for football games and campus events.  He was a graduate of St. Thomas Academy, ’70; University of Minnesota, ’74; and Creighton University School of Law, ‘77.  Jeff also loved to travel the world with his family. 

Jeff was the owner of Beissel Window and Siding and Beissel   Renovation (Kitchen and Bath). Being an entrepreneur and businessman gave him constant joy as he grew the family business started by his father in 1950.  Jeff treasured his many friends in the business world, the STA and Vis communities, the employees at Beissel, his Mary Kay girlfriends of 40 years, in-laws and especially out-laws, and many other beloved family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, June 19, 2021, 10:00 am at the Church of the Assumption, 51 West 7th St., St. Paul.  Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St Paul on Friday, June 18, 2021, 4:00-7:00 pm and at the church one hour prior to Mass.  We respectfully ask that everyone wear a mask to the events.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Thomas Academy or the Convent of the Visitation.

Jeff prayed that he made as positive an impact on others as they made on him.
