Richard Lyle MacKenzie

MacKenzie, Richard Lyle 79 of St. Michael, MN passed away peacefully at home on May 27th of 2021. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 9th of 1942 to Lyle and Eleanor MacKenzie. He grew up in Grand Marais MN and spent many summers visiting the North Shore of Minnesota. Richard loved his family, friends, Corvairs, making pictures frames, telling fabulous stories and football. His career in Mens apparel sent him all over the world. Upon retirement, he drove a school bus for the Fulton County School district in Roswell, Georgia before moving back to Minnesota. Preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Eleanor MacKenzie and his sister Maureen. He is survived by his wife, Ann, his children, Julie Nelson (Jim), Michelle Burdette (Bob), Rich (Kristin Jayd), Shannon Elsenpeter (Howard) and Kyle (Leah), his 7 grandchildren and his 5 siblings. A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
