Goethals, Donald "Don" Arthur age 88, of Bloomington MN, passed away January 20, 2021. Survived by devoted wife Kathryn "Katy"; seven children; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Don was born in Moline IL, became an Army Sergeant serving in the Korean Conflict. He graduated from St. Ambrose College and worked for New York Life Insurance for 32 yrs. He and Katy lived in Des Moines IA, Chicago IL, Bloomington & Medina, MN. Don generously contributed time /money to various community/religious organizations including the Rosemoor Community Association (Chicago), Loaves & Fishes, Pax Christi Home Bound Eucharistic Ministry, Mary's Place, visiting prisoners, among many others. Funeral Mass 10am Monday, June 21, Pax Christi Catholic Church, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347. Interment at a later date Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
