Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; parents, Thorvald and Carrie Kolstad; siblings, Irene Johnson, Tegner Kolstad Leroy Kolstad, Gordon Kolstad, Les Kolstad. Survived by daughter, Robin (John) Galles; grandchildren, Samantha (Brandon) Laurencot, Emma Galles, Maggie Galles, Hannah Galles; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Russell was a loving husband, dad & grandpa. An Army veteran (82nd Airborne). Formerly of Prior Lake, MN & Sun City, AZ. Funeral 11AM Sun., June 20, 2021 with visitation beginning 9:30AM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant St. SE, Prior Lake, MN.
