Linda Marie Haisman

Haisman, Linda Marie The Angels called Linda Marie Haisman home to be with the Lord. Linda, 69, of Nevis and formerly of Staples, passed away unexpectedly from several health conditions at Sanford Medical in Fargo, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, Minnesota. Visitation will be on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN and 1 hour prior to services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples, MN. Linda was born on May 02, 1952 to Clarence and Opal (Stave) Mertens in Bertha, MN. She spent her childhood on their family farm and going to Sacred Heart Catholic School. She graduated from Staples High School and continued her education in cosmetology at Northwest Technical College. On July 03, 1971 Linda married her childhood sweetheart, Frank Haisman, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Linda ran a beauty shop out of their home for many years, and also was a stay at home mom to her four children and many extra. She enjoyed so many things: including fishing, camping, playing cards and dice, cooking, canning, baking, sewing, traveling, garage sailing, thrift store shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She deeply loved nature and all animals. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by Frank, her husband of almost 50 years; children Terry (Wayne), Karl (Lisa), Tonya (Jon), and Kory; 4 grandchildren Dylan (Cailie), Tate, Grace, Kylee; siblings Gab (Dot), Clyde (Deb), Jiggs, Anita, Marilyn and Evie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Opal Mertens; brothers Fritz, and Swede; and nephew Chad Mertens.
