Kuklock, Patricia A. Beloved wife of our departed Emmett, Mother, Nana, teacher, student, friend, poppy-lover, dancer, and devout Catholic. Patricia Ann Antonia Dwyer Kuklock entered this world on June 12, 1930 as a premature baby who spent her first few weeks of life in a shoebox keeping warm near the oven. Perhaps this was the reason she always did love a good Irish cable knit sweater. Survived by James Kuklock of Golden Valley, MN, Edward Kuklock of Apple Valley, MN, Mary Pat (Jeffrey) Hoppe of Freeport, MN, and granddaughter Sara Rose Hoppe of Freeport, MN. Pat loved the lake cabins, bonfires, pontoon rides, the farms, and just watching the loons on the lake. She could do an authentic loon call and tried the Wave Runner, tubing, and kayaking in her 80s. She enjoyed decorating the deck with flowers and statues, creating beautiful holiday tables filled with china, crystal, and silver, and tending to her tiered garden filled with marigolds, poppies, vegetables, and herbs. Pat had a deep love for and commitment to her faith, family, and friends. She loved to meet up with the Ferris Ladies, church groups, and friends, and particularly enjoyed a good cup of soup with lunch and anything chocolate for a treat. Pat joins her son, Daniel, and her husband, Emmett, in heaven, where Pat and Emmett will hold hands for eternity and always eat dessert first. Thank you for the kind and efficient care by Bethany on the Lake and Alomere Health in Alexandria, MN who showed Pat so much compassion. Thank you to Fr. George Michael and Fr. Steve Binsfeld for your visits, and thank you to the staff and parishioners of St. John Neumann for the support. Thank you to Fr. Bob Kieffer for performing last rites for Pat. Thank you to Douglas County Hospice for providing comfort to Pat and her family in her final week. Thank you to everyone who sent flowers, cards, letters, pictures, drawings, and the countless prayers. Pat and her family could feel the love.
