Bullis, Justin Olson 37, died on May 4, 2021, following a 19-month battle with brain cancer. He lived those 19 months as he had lived the rest of his life-deeply loving and caring for his family, laughing, and greeting his friends with his infectious smile, exploring, and appreciating the beauty of nature, looking always for ways to help others, and serving diligently the clients of both his insurance agency and photography business. In his final hours, he was surrounded by his family at home. Justin was born in Galesburg, Illinois on July 20, 1983 and educated in the Wayzata School District, where he was active in art, choir, and Boy Scouts. He graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, with a BFA in Photography. Following graduation, he joined his father at the Bullis Insurance Agency in Wayzata, Minnesota, where he was a fourth-generation member of the family-owned business. Justin also pursued his talent for photography, starting his own freelance business, Bullis Photography, specializing in design and architecture. His clients included builders, architects, and designers, and his work was featured in a multitude of publications. Justin was a member of the Wayzata Rotary Club and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church (Plymouth) and a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church (Minneapolis). Justin was a devoted husband and father and leaves behind his precious family. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Bullis; his daughters, Hannah Bullis and Olivia Bullis; his parents, Grant "Marc" Bullis and Barbara Bullis; and his sister, Kara Hynes (PJ Hynes). Words cannot express our profound sadness at Justin's passing-we will greatly miss him. Visitation Friday, June 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N., Plymouth. Memorial service Saturday, June 5th at 11:00 AM at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Rd 6, Plymouth. Gearty-Delmore 763-553-1411 gearty-delmore.com
