Samec, Marcella "Marcy" Age 80 of Maplewood passed peacefully on May 1, 2021 following a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Preceded in death by parents, William and Marcella (Belka) Mertz; brothers, Jim Mertz and Jack Mertz; sister, Janet Waddick. Survived by her husband of 59 years, George; four sons, George (Lisa), John, Mike (Jennifer), and Tom (Julie); ten grandchildren, Joel, Lauren, George, Jack, Jason, Amanda, Mackenzie, Sara, Lillian and Michael; brother, William (Lorraine) Mertz; other relatives and friends. Marcy was happiest when she was spending time with her grandchildren at the cabin. Visitation, 5-8 pm, Monday, May 10 th at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 - 7th Avenue E., North St. Paul.Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, 12 Noon, Tuesday, May 11th at Church of St. Peter, 2600 Margaret St. N., North St. Paul.
