Bjorgen, Charles Edward Age 85 of New Brighton, passed away April 23, 2021. Preceded in death by his wife Sonia; parents Engval and Inga; brother Robert. Survived by sons Eric and Carl; grandchildren Jacob, Kiara, Joshua and Jaeden; sister-in-law Carmen Diestler; nephews Brian, Terry, Elliott and Aaron; other family and friends, and Willy. Charles served in the US Army. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He was a photographer for the Minneapolis Star Tribune for over 30 years. As a serial hobbyist, he branched out over the years into many interests including outdoor activities, hunting and fishing, boating, photography, auto restoration, and woodworking.
