Lunzer, Geraldine Kennedy (née Kennedy) "Gerry" Age 89 of St. Paul Passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021. Gerry was born in Stewartville, MN to John and Ethel Kennedy and grew up in Rochester. She is preceded in death by her son, Paul and sisters, Valeria Martin and Katherine Roeder. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard "Dick"; daughters, Maureen Lunzer Quist, Katie (Kevin) Conneely, and Liz (Ben) Wallace; grandchildren, Sheila Conneely, Nora (Ben) St. Angelo, Julia and Peter Wallace; and brother, John David Kennedy. Gerry was a devoted force in every aspect of her life - as a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, dear friend, and Catholic. In addition to being a dedicated homemaker and mother, she worked outside of the home in various positions in corporate, retail, government, and nonprofit but her true calling was serving her family and God. Among all of the causes for which she rallied, she was a fierce pro-life advocate for the unborn. She enjoyed entertaining and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite things to do were going to the cabin, Destin, dressing "to the nines", hosting holiday gatherings and doting on her kids and grandkids (and Dick). We were all truly blessed to have had her in our lives. Mass of Christian Burial 10am TOMORROW Monday, April 5 at ST. OLAF CATHOLIC CHURCH, 215 S. 8th St, Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior at 9am. Mass will be livestreamed from St. Olaf's YouTube, found at saintolaf.org/ Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Pro-Life Across America, St. Olaf Catholic Church or Catholic Charities. O'Halloran & Murphy 651-698-0796
