Carr, Nadine M. 76, of Apple Valley died February 16, 2021. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St. Chanhassen. Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Ivanhoe. Nadine Marie Carr was born on June 19, 1944 in Ivanhoe, Minnesota, the daughter of Edward and Agnes (Lipinski) Carr. She grew up in Ivanhoe and graduated from Ivanhoe High School in 1962. She continued her education at St. Cloud State, graduating in 1966. She later went on to receive her Masters in education from Winona State in 1976. She began her teaching career at Hastings School District in 1966 and retiring in 2000 after teaching and mentoring thousands of students. Nadine enjoyed shopping, baking, and spending time with family and friends, often times laughing to tears. She loved her many travels, which included her annual trip to Ely with friends and special trips to Ireland and New York, to name a few. Nadine treasured her family and we all will miss her caring spirit. Nadine is survived by her sister, Beverly Carr Marks of New Hope; niece, Jill Marks of Somerset, WI; nephew, Ted (Catherine) Marks of Eden Prairie; great-nephew and niece, Henry and Elizabeth Marks; numerous cousins and dear friends. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents. Blessed be her memory. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in New London. hafh.org
