Marcia Karen Danahy

Danahy, Marcia Karen passed peacefully on Nov 20, 2020 at Methodist Hospital, and is reunited with her husband Paul Danahy after bravely fighting stage 4 brain cancer at the age of 72. Marcia was born on Oct 16, 1948 in Minneapolis to Russell and Minerva Blixt. She is survived by her son Sean & Alisa (daughter-in-law), Kateryna (her loyal golden retriever), as well as her brother Russell. Many will remember her as an educator for the Hopkins school district where she taught English and was a Gifted and Talented specialist at North Jr High. Others will remember her as a passionate artist and avid supporter of fine arts. Funeral services are postponed in lieu of current Covid-19 restrictions, at which point a memorial will be handled through Washburn McReavy.
