Lieske, Myron D. age 84 of Long Lake passed away November 16, 2020. Preceded in death by his wife, Marian; his parents and brother, Norman. He is survived by brothers, Cliff and Ron and sisters, Ruth and Janice. He was born and raised in Ogden, Iowa. Myron graduated from Chicago Technical College in the Spring of 1960. On February 4, 1961 he married Marian Mann in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Highland, Indiana. Myron's working career included Texas Instruments in Houston, Texas and Seattle, Washington as well as Honeywell in Minneapolis. He felt very lucky that these companies sent him all over the United States and the world. Both Myron and Marian loved cats of which over the years they had 14 of them. All of them, plus a few strays, were very well cared for. Myron will be remembered for his generosity to people in need and many charities. He also had a great sense of humor. Myron at one time had his private flying license and had some good times until he gave it up. He loved taking care of his lawn and gardens at his Long Lake home. The family would like to thank the staff at Trails of Orono for their exceptional care of Myron and also the hospice caregivers from Park Nicollet Hospital.
