Laverty, Jesse R. Age 91 of Stillwater, formerly of Rochester & Bloomington. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 16, 2020. Jesse was in the newspaper industry for 40 years working at The Star Tribune and The Rochester Post Bulletin during that time. Away from work, Jesse led a very active lifestyle. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling. Jesse traveled both nationally and internationally for vacations, but also loved spending his weekends at the lake. Above all, he loved spending time with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jesse is preceded in death by his son, Craig. He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife of 71 years, Alouise; children, Jan (Scott) Johnson, Todd (Molly), Bruce (Renee); grandchildren, Angela (Todd) Rassas, Jill (Josh) King, Mackenzie (Luke) Farrill, Tyler (Melissa), Erin (Chris) Mathew, Dain, Keegan, Greer (Craig) Costello; great-grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Sam, Ben, Elle, Maxx, Tyson, Jackson, Cameron, and Great-Grandbaby #10 due February 2021.
