Gregory Theisen

Theisen, Gregory passed away peacefully on September 11, 2020. Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, and sister Terri. A loving father of Ayaka, dedicated husband of Akiko, oldest son of Wally and Dorothy, brother of Benno (Linda), Jonell (John) Cella, Kevin, and Todd (Sarah). Gregory was a composer, pianist, arranger and educator. His original compositions have been performed in many venues worldwide. He served as the music director for many musical theater productions, and played keyboards for over 100 Broadway musicals in the TwinCities. Greg was a piano and composition instructor at the MacPhail Center for Music and associate music director at Nativity Lutheran Church. A celebration of Gregory's life will be held at a later date when circumstances allow for larger gatherings.
