Person, Douglas Mark was born August 7th, 1942 in Fargo, ND. His parents were I.H. Person and Elma Person from Fargo. He attended public schools in Fargo and received his Bachelor's degree from Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter, MN, where he graduated with high honors. He received his Master of Science Degree in Education from North Dakota State University, and a Master of Public Health Degree from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Mr. Person is survived by a brother Dr. Don Person of San Antonio, TX, and two sons Andrew of Minneapolis and Mark of Madison, WI. Doug was a member of the Edina Model Yacht Club and enjoyed sailing remote controlled sailboats at Centennial Lakes in Edina. Mr. Person was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota for 22 years. Doug was a resident of Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington where he has resided for 12 years. He passed peacefully on August 11th. A small memorial service for family and close friends will be held to celebrate his life. Memorials (in lieu of flowers) are preferred to Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington.
