Barsness, Richard "Dick" A. Our dearly loved Dick, age 80, of Bloomington passed away on May 29th, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Lois Barsness. Dick worked for Torit (later Donaldson Corp.) in St Paul for 20 years and Prior Lake State Bank for an additional 20 years. He was a proud Marine and a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Elks Club in Hopkins. He was a simple man who loved his family and friends beyond measure. His spirit will live on through all he knew. We will miss him forever. Survived by wife, Gretchen "Lee"; daughters, Tia (Lance) Black, Tona (Joel) Luecke and Tara Barsness-Olson; grandchildren, Kayla, Jordan, Jake, Noah and Macy; brother, Bob (Gail) Barsness; sister, Debbie (Randy) Holmes and many other relatives. We have plans to celebrate his life on his birthday, August 17th, 2020 at the Elks in Hopkins at noon (private ceremony at Fort Snelling prior).
