Puncochar, Glenn A (Punch) Age 87, passed away on May 2 from myelo-dysplastic syndrome at JA Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park. Glenn was born February 10, 1933 in Aberdeen SD, son of Frank and Myrle Puncochar. He graduated from Miller High School in 1952. He earned his BS degree in Engineering from South Dakota State University in 1955. Glenn married Darlene Davis in 1956. They were married 63 years and had 2 sons. He worked at Honeywell for 37 years traveling internationally. Glenn was a longtime volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed singing in the choir, sailing, biking and being a masterful fixer of all things. They had vacation homes in Colorado and Florida where his family enjoyed many memory-filled vacations. Preceded in death by his mother, father and his only brother, Robert. Glenn is survived by his wife Darlene, son Curtis (Susan) and Scott (Mary). Grandchildren: Torrey, Morgan, Jack and Davis, plus many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to SDSU in his honor.
