Sharon Kay 'Fuzzy' (Grodt) West

West (Grodt), Sharon Kay "Fuzzy" Age 83 of Chisago City, passed away peacefully at home on March 16th, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Genhard and Palma Grodt. Sharon was born on January 30, 1937 in Grenora, ND and grew up in Williston, ND before moving to Minneapolis to attend Augsburg College. She was a devoted child care worker in daycare/latch key programs at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Minneapolis for 28 years. She is survived by several cousins, close friends and loved ones. Sharon was an avid reader, animal lover, and gifted at forging meaningful relationships with people of all walks of life. Private family service will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chisago City, of which she was an active member. Memorials donations preferred to the Animal Humane Society.
