Harvey honorably served on the aircraft carrier, the USS Leyte while enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1951- 55 during the Korean War. He lived near Bertha, MN most of his life where he worked as a salesman supporting the farming community, and raised horses. He was a lifelong cowboy with a quest to reach Quarter Horse racing greatness. He LOVED playing cribbage, and thoroughly enjoyed following the Minnesota Twins and Gophers. In their retirement years, he and Pat went on many cross-country "adventures" in their RV, and spent as much time as they could at the family lake place near Brainerd. A celebration of Harvey's life will be held at Union Congregational United Church of Christ, 3700 Alabama Avenue S, St. Louis Park, MN on Saturday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. (parking is available in the lot northwest of the church, and in the business lots across the street).
