Nelson, Allan O. P. Age 90 of Northfield passed away January 20, 2020. Allan served as a Lutheran pastor at Lake Crystal, Kiester and Luverne, MN, and Valley Springs and Garretson, SD. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Imogene (Boyum); daughters Kirsten (Jeffrey) Johnson of Sudbury, MA, Berit (Jeffrey Schmidt) of St. Paul, Sigrid (Daniel Schonebaum) of Faribault; 6 grandchildren; brother Glenn Nelson (Jane Borelli) of Decorah, IA, and brother-in-law Kenley Boyum of Plymouth. A Service of Remembrance and Celebration will be held at 11:00AM on Friday (2/7/2020) at St. John's Lutheran Church, 500 3rd St. W, Nfld. Visitation one hour before, reception will follow.
