Schoeben, John W. Age 54 of Lakeville set down his pencil and brush on Dec. 16 2019. John is now CANCER FREE after confronting and overcoming the odds with courage for 8 years. As an amazing and talented artist, his design creations came in many forms: signage, billboards, logos, menus, neon, sculpture in relief, and fine art. John has gifted us with many Artful memories. His favorite color grey, admired cars of all eras and riding his vintage motorcycle, but most of all he "LOVES HIS FAMILY": wife Sally of 15 years, sons Liam and Hans, and daughter Kady Krieger. John idealized his father, Frank, as he passed a few years ago. He called his mom, Vicki, every morning at 9:30, sent daily texts to sister, Susan Blanchard, and brother, Steve. John enjoyed spending time with his many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends, who've supported him through his journey. John and his family would like to thank everyone at the Frauenshuh Cancer Center for their extraordinary care, along with a special shout-out to Dr. Mark Wilkowske and his team for going way beyond their roles, allowing extra time for office visits, taking time for many after hour room chats, and just for the EXTRA TIME! There will be no funeral as John lives on in our memories. Family and Friends gathering at a later date. Memorials preferred to: Frauenshuh Cancer Center/Special Needs Fund c/o Park Nicollet Foundation, 6500 Excelsior Blvd. St Louis Park, MN 55426.
