Angelus, Loukas M. "Luke" Age 90, passed away peacefully to his everlasting life in heaven, surrounded by family on December 7th, 2019. Survived by son, Thomas Angelus; daughter, Stacy (Todd) Vucenich; grandchildren, Nick & Ashley Vucenich. Preceded in death by parents, Tom & Tina Angelus; Sister, Maria (Ron) Larson; and beloved wife, Angie. A graduate from Central High School & Macalester College. Proudly served in the Navy for over 25 years. Long-time member of St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church. Luke will be remembered as a true gentleman- polite, positive, selfless & gracious. Luke loved the Lord, his church, his family & friends. Known as "Papou" to his adored grandchildren & remembered for his infectious smile & heart of gold. He not only knew the Lord's word but lived it. Luke touched the lives of everyone he knew & will be missed by all. Thank you to the staff of The Glenn Hopkins for their amazing care. Visitation 5-7PM with prayer service at 6PM on Thursday, December 12th at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel. Funeral service 11AM Friday, December 13 at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, 3540 Irving Ave S, Mpls. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the church.
