Bylund, Richard W 'Dick' 2-1-1927 - 10-20-2019 Graduated from Southwest High School, Mpls. Enlisted and served in the US Navy as a medic in Guam. Graduated with a BS in Education from the U of M in 1950. Married the love of his life Helen Jean in 1952. Taught at Wenonah Elementary School for 30 years. After retirement his passions were first and foremost his family, photography, making movies, hunting in MN and WY, building and remodeling houses and cabins, sailing and building a 1941 Piper Cub airplane from parts. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Genevieve. Survived by wife of 67 years, Helen; children, Jody and Eric; grandchildren, Katie (Forest) and Jacob; other loving relatives and good friends. Memorial service 11 am on Wednesday, November 20th at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15915 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka. Visitation at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Vail Place in Hopkins or donor's choice.
