Carol E. Heath

Heath, Carol E. 79, died October 31st, 2019, at her home in Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 10am, at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis. A reception will be held after the service at the church. Carol was born in 1939 to Lillian and Cleve Olson, in Bertha, MN. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, and went on to teach in Tanzania and New York state, before returning to Minnesota and earning a Masters in Library Science from the University of Minnesota. She married Richard Heath, making a home and teaching piano lessons in South Minneapolis for many years. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels for over 40 years, and was an active member of the St. Mark's Community since 1977. She is survived by her son, Malcolm, step-daughter Tamara, 4 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Memorials to Meals on Wheels, MN, or the Groveland Food Shelf are preferred in lieu of flowers.
