Brandt, Robert C. age 75, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2019. He was born on November 24, 1943, in Brainerd, MN to Robert T. and Margaret (Cody) Brandt. He was a long time employee of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. His many interests included fishing, playing & coaching softball and following Minnesota sports, especially the Gophers, Vikings & Lynx. Robert moved to FL after retirement and enjoyed golf & shuffleboard, winning many medals in the FL Senior Games. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois (Prange); children, Nathan of Lafayette, CO, Mindy of Minneapolis, MN and Lia (Kevin) Curti of Elk River, MN; grandchildren, Taylor & Alyssa Brandt and Cole, Blake & Kaia Curti. Also survived by his sister, Judy (Roger) Roettger; brother, Tom (Ellen); brother-in-law, Bob (Missy) Prange; many nieces & nephews along with other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Edinburgh Country Club, 8700 Edinbrook Crossing, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443, from noon to 3pm.
