Johnson, Priscilla Audrey (Brask) Priscilla slipped into the arms of her loving Savior on Tuesday, October 15, at age 97. She is enjoying His Majesty, and the beautiful garden she mentioned frequently in past weeks. Awaiting her arrival were family members including her husband, J. Lowell Johnson; parents Herb & Ruth Brask; siblings Beverly, June, Barbara, Craig and Patty; and step-son Dan. Survived by brothers Rodger (Faith), J. Weston (Judy), brother-in-law Jim Rodine; step- daughter Janice (Stuart) and their children Rachel (Alan) and Evan (Stephanie) and families; step-son Roger (Lorraine); grandson Rustin; many nieces, nephews and families; and special friends Ruth Ann Leaf, Amy Shin, Nelda Powell & Bernice Hultstrand. Priscilla's family is grateful for the excellent and loving care she received at Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington; and many visits from the Community Nurses of First Evangelical Free Church. Priscilla's hospitality, hostessing, and table-setting skills were unmatched, and refreshed thousands in Spokane, Portland, Leawood, Kansas City, Lindsborg, and Minneapolis. She was a 20-year radio operator for NWA, after time as a beautician. Priscilla traveled the world, and encouraged God's servants wherever she went. She taught Swedish in Lindsborg for several years, after living in Sweden six months to perfect her skills. She taught Sunday School and released-time children's classes, and was a lifelong student of the Bible. Priscilla joined Evangelical Free or Evangelical Covenant churches where she lived, and the churches' choirs. A woman of God, of her word, of laughter, sharp-witted, wise to the ways of the world, skilled seamstress, skillful conversationalist, and faithful correspondent, encourager & prayer warrior - she is sorely missed. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Reviewal 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Washburn McReavy Nokomis Park Chapel, 1838 E.
